Accounting Services Manager

Misty is Bestow’s Accounting Services Manager, bringing both expertise and heart to her role. Her love for accounting started early—thanks to an adding machine her parents kept at home. As a child, Misty would help her dad, a truck driver, total his toll receipts on the machine whenever he returned from the road. That small routine sparked a lifelong interest in numbers and organization.

Later, a recordkeeping class in high school cemented her path, leading her to pursue a degree in accounting at Western Illinois University and eventually a master’s degree at Culver-Stockton College. Today, Misty combines her technical background with hands-on leadership, helping nonprofit organizations build systems that support accurate reporting, financial clarity, and long-term sustainability.

Based in Illinois, she works closely with Bestow’s clients to ensure their accounting processes run smoothly—so they can focus on advancing their missions.
