Misty is Bestow’s Accounting Services Manager.  She was drawn to accounting by… The adding machine! Her dad drove a truck until she was a teenager. Whenever he was home, he had toll receipts that had to be added together. For some odd reason, her parents had an adding machine and would let her total his tolls on it. Then, she took a recordkeeping class in high school and enjoyed that, so she went on to pursue a degree in accounting.

Favorite local Memory - Like many other communities, Quincy has a town festival-The Dogwood Festival-named after the beautiful dogwood trees that line Quincy's Maine Street. Every year there is a parade and that was always a highlight for my family. My parents would take my brother and I to get donuts and then we would sit in front of the Quincy Museum and watch the parade. Even now, I still enjoy going to the parade with friends and family.
